The strong silent type, our second child, cried to be left alone. He watched us silently, played without sound, then one day announced, “A-want Ted-dy.”

Love drew a line in the sand. “Let one who has no sin take up the first stone.” Law stepped away and love sang. Law hung my God on a cross on a hill. Love paid the price for my sin.
